Ice Skating

Hi everyone

I hope you're all nearly ready for the big day, there's not long to go now.

Unfortunately my card making has had to be cleared away to make room for a rather large, twinkling green plant in the corner of the room!

However, I did manage a couple of cards before the big tidy-up and this is one of them (apologies for the photo!):

Items used:

Stamp, sentiment and papers - LOTV
Dies - Spellbinders and Marianne Creatables
Twine, button, charm and bell - The Ribbon Girl
Let it snow button and Glamour Dust from stash

I would like to enter the following challenges:

Papertake Weekly - Last Christmas
Stamping Sensations - Winter Wonderland
Penny Black & More - Special Occasions
Bunny Zoe Challenge - Buttons

Thanks for popping by today and any comments you leave are very much appreciated.

Poppies!

Hello everyone

Today I can finally show this card I made for my Mum using one of my favourite stamps.  I'd wanted this stamp for ages and the other week checked my lottery ticket and couldn't believe I had 3 numbers!  So I instantly decided to treat myself to this stamp and ordered it straight away.   Then when I went to claim my prize I realised I'd checked the numbers against the wrong week, so no win!   Never mind, the bonus was a new stamp in my collection (happy days!)

Items used:

Stamp: Penny Black
Sentiment stamps: LOTV tags
Colouring: ProMarkers
Papers: BoBunny Alora Collection
Dies: Spellbinders Edgeabilities and Marianne Creatables
Lace: Crafty Ribbons
Flowers: LOTV shop in Leeds
Pearl: stash

I'd like to enter this in the following challenges:

The Ribbon Girl Colour Challenge - Red
Papertake Weekly - Lovely Layers

I'd also like to enter this in Brenda's 5th Blogaversary draw (Congratulations) - Favourite items (Penny Black stamp and of course ProMarkers)

Thanks for popping by, enjoy the weekend.

Love is in the air

Happy New Year everyone!

I've finally moved my crafty supplies back into the dining room, now Christmas has been put away and that very long and crazy first full week at work is over!

I would like to say how sorry I am to hear that Theresa is closing her online store, My Crafty Heart.  She always provided fantastic service and a wide variety of products.  Good luck for the future.

On to my card, I've used one of my new stamps from Penny Black (Squeeze 'til I Squeak) and new papers from LOTV. The stamp is coloured with my ProMarkers, dies from Marianne Designs and Memory Box, Stickles glitter glue to the flowers, pearly heart from MCH.  Flowers, ribbon, pearl and peel-off from my stash.

I would like to enter the following challenges:

Penny Black & More - Love & Romance
My Mum's Craft Shop - Love
Penny Black Saturday Challenge - New (new stamp and papers)
Papertake Weekly - Anything Goes
Creative Inspirations - Blooms & Pearls
Penny Black blog, Sending Hugs

Thank you for popping by today and for all your comments,  they are very much appreciated.

Have a great weekend!

Lazy Days

Hello everyone

Another day, another card!  I'm not sure about this one!  I think I'm a bit out of my comfort zone using yellow and orange but I've had a go at trying to make a summery card using these colours for a change.  However, I have used one of my favourite stamps, Penny Black's Lazy Days coloured with ProMarkers.  The dies are Spellbinders and Marianne's creatables, sentiment LOTV, paper, ribbon and buttons from my stash and the old favourite butterfly punch.  I have decoupaged the daisy and put a bit of gold glitter in the centre.

Close up

I would like to enter this into the following challenges:

My Mum's Craft Shop - summer sun
A Little Bit Crafty - summer sun
